It’s that time of year where there’s an Earthy scent in the air, flowers are budding and Spring showers are pouring down. It’s the season of change, so why not switch up the TBR too?
I’ve got a book haul this weekend that I’m pretty pumped about – the result of a impromptu splurge this past week when I had too much free time and Indigo was just around the corner...honestly, can you blame a girl?
So, here’s what I’ve picked up recently! 🙂
. . .
Spring Book Haul|2019
Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young
I started this just a couple days ago and I’m tearing through it! It’s breathtaking, wild, intense and chock-full of badass action! Not only is the cover absolutely gorgeous, but Adrienne Young (who is debut author,) has created and incredibly brutal and beautiful world that immediately captured my attention.
Savior’s Champion by Jenna Moreci
This one has been on my TBR for MONTHS but it took me forever to finally get my hands on it. Now that it’s finally miine, I don’t think this’ll take me very long to finish – It’s right up my alley and I’ve only heard good things!
Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han
Ahhh it’s the end! I’m kind of sad – Lara Jean is that one character that I can come to at anytime and immediately feel like I’m in high school again…whether that’s a good or bad thing kind of depends on the day/chapter BUT it’s hella relatable and I’m sure I’ll tear through it like that rest of the series xD
A Breath of Snow and Ashes by Diana Gabaldon
I finally finished The Fiery Cross and I’m already suffering from Outlander-Deprivation. It’s pretty much impossible for me to live my life without Jaime and Claire so of course I had to get the next chapter in their story!
Emergency Contact by Mary H.K Choi
This was a totally random pick! I’ve never heard of the author or title, but I thought the cover was gorgeous and the description (which features a sarcastic writer who’s just starting college and a brooding barista with a crazy ex-girlfriend) sounded like a good time.
Five Feet Apart by Rachael Lippincott
This book got hyped up before it even got released and I knew I had to grab it – blame the adorable movie trailer. Don’t ask me why I like these sob stories, I just do okay!?
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
I feel like I’m way late to the party on this one but I’ve heard SO many good things about Red Queen and I’ve been trying to read it for months and it just never happened. Finally though, it’s finally sitting on my TBR and waiting to be enjoyed! I’m always ready for a warrior-esque woman to capture my imagination.
. . .
– and that’s it for my haul! Think it’s a nice balance of fierce fighters and cute romance :p What are you reading this Spring? Tell me in the comments down below!
Have an awesome weekend! <3
