So the other day,
I FINALLY finished the second draft of my sci/fi/Post-Apocalyptic Novel!
I’m so freaking excited to begin my third draft – there’s a lot of the novel that I’m really excited about and feel is done, as well as a few other elements that I’d still like to add. I’m aiming to have 4 drafts before I start sending it out – but we’ll see where my writing takes me!
I meant to take a step back from the universe, the characters and all their problems, but somewhere along the road, I ended up dipping into the sequel – I know it probably sounds crazy that I’m working on a sequel for a book I haven’t even finished yet, but when inspiration strikes…! That said, it’s just a jumble of disconnected scenes saved on my phone so far and I only have a faint idea of what it’s all going to be about.
So of course, I couldn’t help doing a moodboard to help me envision my characters next adventure!!
. . .
Book #2 | A Moodboard
The sequel picks up right where the first left off, but instead of being dropped into the heat of the battle, it’s post-war. The characters are scattered both literally and mentally, trying to pick of the pieces and figure out ‘What is life going to be like now that it’s over?’ …And then they come to the realization that it’s not at all over – the fight is still happening and they’re dealing with something bigger than they ever thought possible.
. . .
And there it is! I’m debating doing a part 2 to ‘Your WIP in GIFS Tag’. To this day, it’s still the post I had the most fun writing on here and I’d love to do one for book #2!! Should I!?

With that, I’m going to get back to writing :p Have an awesome weekend everyone!!
