Happy Holidays Wanderers!
With Christmas fast approaching, so is the end of 2018 and I’m kinda mind blown – where the heck did this year go?! A new year always leaves me with a bunch of mixed emotions; it’s a clean slate, a fresh chance to kick ass and reach your goals. Sometimes though, this time of year can also feel overwhelming. One minute you’re sketching brilliantly in your bullet journal and the next you’re sitting there frozen like, ‘Can I do this?’
First of all…Yes you can!! I’m a big believer in the philosophy that if you want something bad enough, you can make it happen. And that’s why for today’s post, I thought that instead of simply writing a list of goals for 2019, I’d make a mood board – something to help me visualize what I want! Here we go!
. . .
Goals for 2019
Paint More (I use to watercolor when I was stressed, but it’s way too long!)
Journal (Last year my bullet journal got put on the back burner – but this year I want to doodle!)
Get a car / Go on a Trip (Fingers crossed I’ll finally get a car in 2019 and first thing I want is to go camping!)
Play More Games (I didn’t play too many new titles in 2018 so I’m dying to get my hands on some new stories)
Finish My Manuscript (I’m almost done draft #2 and I think draft #3 might be ‘the one’! …which is terrifying.)
Moon Tattoo (I got my quill to celebrate finishing draft #1, so the moon will be a gift to myself for #3)
Do More Archery (I feel so empowered when I’m doing archery! It also makes me feel close to my protag!)
Get into Boxing (If you’ve read my past bucketlists, you know this has been on my to-do forever! Let 2019 be the year I finally do it)
Improve Yoga (My practice has been so inconsistent in 2018 but I’ve been so inspired try harder lately!)
. . .
And there are all my goals!! I actually had a lot of fun sifting through photos and thinking seriously about how I want to shape this coming year – if you don’t strive for what you want, how else can you expect to get what you want, right? 🙂
What are your goals for the new year? Let me know in the comments down below!
