Stranger Things Book Tag!

Hey all!

Soo the cold weather finally got to me. Had a sore throat all week – thought I was getting better…and turns out I just woke up way worse Monday morning :,( But hey, on the bright side, I discovered my newfound love for F.R.I.E.N.D.S and have been in bed marathoning all day. I suspect season 10 comes by a ton quicker then I was thinking.

So anyway – I thought it’d be fun to do a short and cool tag I recently saw over at Thrice Read’s blog. Those girls always have great tags and other addicting book content so be sure to go check them out! It’s called the Stranger Things Book Tag! If you’ve been as on-the-edge-of-your-seat-obsessed as me theen you’ll know how badly I HAD to do this tag :p Let’s get into it before I get too excited and start rebinging from season 1 again.

. . .

Stranger Things Book Tag!

Epic Intro

The opening sequence of Stranger Things is amazing and really grabs your attention. Name a book that grabbed your attention from the first page.

It was the first high fantasy story I ever read and Shannara did not disappoint! There are so many characters and things going on in this world so it was easy to get swept up into it!

Name a fantasy world you would like to experience yourself.

I mean Hogwarts not the obvious answer to that question?? :p

When Eleven met Mike, Dustin and Lucas it was a *mostly* perfect team. Name your favorite bookish group of friends.

Even though the characters are usually butting heads…I love the relationships between the characters in White Hot Kiss no matter what side or ‘race’ they are.

Joyce Byers goes mad with grief after Will goes missing. Name your favorite mentally unhinged character

This could have easily been Roth (also from White Hot Kiss) orr Damon (Vampire Diaries) buut I just had to go with Patch of Hush Hush!!

Name a book that was the opposite of what you expected.

All I knew when I started Outlander was that it had stellar reviews – but since it makes it’s way into neearly all of my posts, obviously I ended up agreeing with them :p It definitely was a read that exceeded my expectations!

Dr. Brenner likes to get freaky with humanity. Name the freakiest dystopian government you can think of.

This for sure had to go Delirium by Lauren Oliver – I still can’t fathom living in a world where love is against the law!

Name a scary bookish creature that you would not want to come through your walls.

This for sure has to go to the Kitsune twins in Vampire Diaries The Return: Shadow Souls. When Elena, Damon and Bonnie travel to the otherworld to save Stefan, two mystical and mischievous twins take over the town of Mystic Falls and -without spoilers- do some pretty heavy damage duty.

name a book that left you wanting more.

I feel like this series (which adored) left on a bit of an ominous end. Kelley Armstrong does an amazing job and making the characters almoost have a happy ending but leaving plenty of room for more adventures in her awesome short stories she regularly releases. So I always hoped that she’d do the same with The Rising!

. . .

Since I wasn’t actually tagged, I tag any of you who thought this tag was fun!

That’s it for me tonight 🙂 Are you as obsessed with Stranger Things like I am? Let me know in the comments down below so we can obsess together!

Goodnight everyone!
