10 Things That Made Me Happy This Summer

Hellooo everybody!

So if you remember a few months back, at the start of summer, I made a post about my summer bucket list. Well, with back-to-school being in full swing here (plus the fact that today was freakishly cold), I thought it’d be a good time to reflect on some things that we’re really awesome about this summer!

It was a really emotionally fueled summer – a whirlwind of new beginnings and happy familiarity – but crazy doesn’t always translate to ‘bad’.

. . .

10 Things That Made Me Happy This Summer

I Celebrated 5 years with my other half

I got my first tattoo

I started going for runs again

I got my learners permit

I finally ate at my first Korean restaurant…and then ate a lot more of it

I Saw my aunt in Toronto

I started working for game studio Alice & Smith

My boyfriend and I threw a movie night double date

I saw some really gorgeous fireworks

I had a bonfire + smores with some great company

. . .

That’s myy list but what’s yours? Share your happiest memories of this summer in the comments down below and let me know what your plans are! Is it business as usual or are you returning to school? 🙂

That’s it for me today, so see you Wednesday and have a good week all. Goodnight ❤

  1. Yay!! Your summer sounds amazing!! Congrats on 5 years!!! And I’ve been obsessed with Asian food lately, but I don’t know if I’ve tried Korean food yet? I’m going to have to change that!

  2. Your list gave me the feels. I love happy lists! Two awesome things: watching my daughter graduate from college. I was super emotional. This time last year, they did not think my father would leave the hospital. Then when he went home, they told him he would be oxygen dependent for the rest of his life. Today, he only wears the oxygen at night and he has even started golfing again. So, we feel quite grateful and blessed.
