Soundtrack Saturdays (#7)

Hey all,

Writing late to you tonight because I felt like it was time for another Soundtrack Saturday! Love hearing what you guys listen to when you comment on these type of posts because summer is the season for pool parties and bonfires and long drives and for all of those, you definitely need a ton of playlists, am I right? So thanks so much for giving me more music to listen to these days!

I just finished work about an hour ago and literally as I was locking up and the alarm was coming on…I realized I left my phone inside. After freaking out and cursing for a good ten minutes, I took a deep breath and made myself realize that it wasn’t that big of a deal and I could easily pick it up tomorrow. But it still sucks! It’s strange how much reliance we place on our phones isn’t it?

With that said, I thought it would be fun to do a playlist about turning lemons into lemonade and whatnot :p Lets call it… *drumroll*

Motivational Music

Reflection – BTS (Rap Monster)

 Patience – Guns N Roses

Boombayah – Blackpink

Get Over It – OK Go

For The First Time – The Script

 I Am The Best – 2NE1

Beside You – Marianas Trench

No More Dream – BTS

Well that’s all I’ve got for today! I hoped you liked this post and playlist 🙂 What have you been listening to lately? Let me know in the comments down below!

  1. Ah, you have “I Am the Best!” Definitely brings back memories…I’ve been listening to a lot of synth-pop and EDM lately, just the popular stuff from Kygo and Halsey. Looking forward to your next Soundtrack Saturday!

      1. “Closer” is probably her most famous one, although it’s technically her song…”Now or Never” is pretty good, but I’m currently really into “Strangers,” which also features the vocals of Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui. Some recommendations, if you want!

  2. I know I’m spamming you but your blog makes me happy 🙂 lol. I just listened to Lorde’s new album, Melodrama. It actually blew my socks off, Lorde really pushed her limits with this album. It’s dreamy but upbeat at times, full of life but also full of despair, and her voice alone is hypnotic. I’ve also been listening to Alt-J’s new album, the song “Feel it Still” by Portugal the Man. and Flatbush Zombies, and a lot more. Thanks for sharing !

    1. I’m really happy to hear it, comments like these -where others share their music – make my day 🙂 dreamy is the perfect word to describe Lorde! Alt-J is awesome, I hope to see him live someday, it’d be cool!

      1. I saw Alt-J live at Buzz Beachball two years ago! It was actually phenomenal. They were headliners, and they followed Awolnation and Glass Animals (who were also amazing performers), and I was pretty much dead by the time Alt-J came on. Regardless, their sound reverberated through the entire venue, it was like a sweet lullaby haha.
